About me
My name is Tayte and I’m thrilled you’re here to learn more about my journey from being a PE teacher to a professional dog walker. It’s been an incredible adventure — life led me on a path far beyond the classroom. Through my travels around South East Asia and South America, I encountered different cultures, landscapes, and of course, animals. Travelling allowed me to slow down, reflect, and reassess what truly made me happiest. It was during those moments that I realised my true calling: working with animals in a way that felt more direct and fulfilling than I ever imagined.
Picking up other peoples dog poo wasn’t exactly part of my five-year plan. Everything changed thanks to Coco — our 4-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux with a heart as big as her paws. She might look a bit intimidating, but she’s the biggest, soppiest softie you’ll ever meet. She’s been more than just a family pet; she’s my motivation, my daily dose of joy, and the reason I fell in love with being outdoors — even on the toughest days. Through every walk, she reminded me how healing fresh air (and muddy paws) can be.
What started as simple strolls turned into something much more meaningful. I realised I could turn this passion into a way to help others care for their beloved pets, while also connecting with people and building a community — one wagging tail at a time.
When I returned home from travelling, I worked as a dog walker for a business, which gave me a true insight into the day-to-day life of a dog walker. From entering clients' homes to collecting dogs and heading out for walks, I learned the importance of trust, routine, and the joy that comes with every pawprint. I’ve had the pleasure of working with dogs of all shapes and sizes — from tiny terriers to giant breeds — each with their own quirks, pace, and personality.

I feel like the universe gently guided me onto this new path — one I was already walking without fully realising it. Friends and family naturally turned to me whenever they needed someone they could trust to care for their pets, whether it was a walk, a check-in, or some loving company. What began as something I did out of love has become something I feel truly called to do. Now, I’m answering that calling and turning this passion into my own business — grounded in care, connection, and purpose.
